Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun , otherwise professionally known as Wizkid , celebrated his 32nd birthday today, 16th of July.  Numerous fans took to their social media, particularly twitter -to voice their appreciation and blessings to the afrobeat singer. Wizkid - who was discovered by Banky Wellington,  began to take the Nigerian music industry by storm in 2011, releasing his first single "H olla At Your Boy ", and his first album - " SUPERSTAR " by June 12, 2011. Thanks to the likes of Wizkid, Afrobeat music has gone global/international , often charting in North-American and European countries, and is still making waves. The Afrobeat legend starting making music at the age of 11 , with a team "Glorious Five" which he and his Church friends formed. Throughout  his career, Wizkid has been nominated and has won various local and international awards such as : MTV EUROPE Music Awards Soul Train Music Awards BET Awards (3) NAACP Image Awards (2) and One Grammy Awa

Many fans of the former singing duo - P-Square , are full of excitement as the singers released a teaser for their upcoming single " Jaiye" Their latest single ."JAIYE"is scheduled to drop by July 22.  The duo made a post on their instagram dancing and celebrating to the song, which attracted the attention of fans - with the caption "WAIT FOR IT 22-07-22" #JAIYE #BRANDNEWPSQUARE"  Here's a screenshot of the instagram post : The reason for the excitement is because this is the first song they are going to release since after the reunion. One of the victims of Robert Kelly - a woman named Joycelyn Savage - has claimed that she and the R&B crooner are engaged. "My name is Joycelyn Savage, and I'm Robert Kelly's fiance" , states Savage in a letter addressed to Judge Ann Donelly, from documents obtained from HollywoodLife. This letter seems to have been written on June 13, two weeks before Kelly had been sentenced to 30-years on sex-trafficking  and racketeering charges. The woman also claimed that the relationship between the two of them was "amazing" . Reports from 2 months ago revealed that Young Thug, Gunna, and some YSL associates were arrested on RICO charges. Fans of the rappers were devastated - and it looks as if both of them have since been denied bail. Thug's troubles are now going to be revealed in a new docuseries. Rolling Stone films and Jigsaw Productions announced the development of the project along with a podcast. The series is allegedly going to cover the rise of Young Thug's career and legal problems he has faced so far. The producers are looking to depict the developments in "real-time" , because it is something that is still ongoing in the rapper's life. The companies want to use Thug's story to examine the rap scene in a broader view. Nigerian Singer, Davido Adeleke popularly known as " Davido" had recently come out to tell everyone that the amount of money and success he has gotten cannot change him. Well-known rapper Travis Scott has definitely made it back to the stage , right after what he went through during his astroworld tour in 2021.  He faced a lost of backlashes and lawsuits against him, but after his performance at the billboard awards, it's clear to us that he is ready to keep it moving with the  music thing. Scott has an upcoming performance at the famous London O2 Arena for the 6th of August, but high demand has made it clear that the promoters added another date. The show with a capacity of 16,000 -sold out in under 2 hours, according to a press release. The 31-year old rapper posted a photo of the show under his Instagram handle ( @travisscott ) with the caption " Quicker than Flash " ( SEE PICTURE BELOW) Scott has been teasing with the release of a new project " utopia"  . Nigerian renowed singer , Timaya ( Real name Inetimi Timaya Odon) has recently proposed the creation of a new job role to aid unemployment in Nigeria. The Singer announced this via twitter stating that the candidate(s) would be in charge of "greeting people on his behalf" and "collecting handshakes".
