Notable singer, R Kelly might feel the pressure or feel "dehumanized", by the suicide watch placed on him, but his detention area in Brooklyn is not coming to terms with this. To respond to his lawsuit regarding his home, the US Attorney at Brooklyn, New York filed papers that claim that Kelly must remain in custody "for his own safety" after a psychological assessment that was done on him.  Melanie Speight, US Attorney writes that he has been sentenced to the next three decades in prison. She also mentioned about his future trial in Chicago for another criminal trial , relating to child pornography. In R Kelly's lawsuit against the detention center in Brooklyn, he claimed being held on suicide watch solely for "punitive purposes as a high profile inmate"  Attorney Brown has stated that nothing during his sentencing would come as a surprise to Kelly, and that the suicide watch might  be cruel and unfair under the 8th amendment.
